Sun -N- Fun 2006

Sun n Fun was a hoot!  The weather was great, not too hot, and the humidity wasn't bad (even for a desert rat like me!)  Beth and I spent two days there, and got to see most of everything that was on my list.  We missed Earl from Cub Crafters, and didn't get to all of the aircraft out on the flight line, but none the less, it was great!

I spent quite a bit of time at the Zenith booth, and went to seminars given by William Wynne of www.flycorvair.com, and Chris Heintz, the designer of the Zenith CH-601.  We saw some great acrobatic flying, got a look at the new F22 Raptor, and stuck our head in the new Eclipse 500 that is being built here in Albuquerque.  I came away from the show with the flying bug biting me firmly in the behind, and about 50 lbs of books and catalogs!  What fun!

Following are a number of photos from the show.  Click on the thumbnail photo for a full size shot.
